Traverse City Sara Hardy Farmers Market

Downtown Farm Market, Dedicated:

Located Between Cass and Union Streets just off the Grandview Parkway  (across from Clinch Park). What you'll find is the hustle and bustle of Traverse City in a frenzy of vendors and shoppers displaying and hording a variety of local grown and produced goods.

This is not a leisure stroll as you will find a tangle of pedestrians all shopping for the splendor of fresh and unique local produce, fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, baked goods, soaps, meets, coffee's and so many more every day products that this community has come to desire and crave

The Market is open Saturdays beginning early May through October, from 8 am to noon.

In early June, the Market is open on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays, also from 8am to noon, through September.

The Market is not in operation during the National Cherry Festival.

The last Market day of the season is the end of October.

Persons interested in selling items that are "from the earth" and homegrown at the Farmers Market, can contact the vending coordinator at the Traverse City DDA, (231) 922-2050.

Located Between Union St and Cass at Grandview Parkway

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons Farmers Market

Launched in 2006 during the National Cherry Festival, organizers stated there was a need for this since the downtown market was just packed and this area could support another one. What we like about the 3-7 p.m. hours is that the farmers can pick their produce in the morning before the heat sets in.

What we want is to make it a community place, the Village at Grand Traverse in general.

The market welcomes vendors of all types and they hope one day that will include arts and crafts. Enjoy fresh eggs, homemade breads, pasta, and sweet treats; honey, preserves, maple syrup fish, meats, milk, and cheese; fruits and veggies; and MORE!

During warm months it is an Outdoor Farmers Market that is held on Monday afternoons, from 3-7pm on The Piazza (between Cottageview and Red Drive.) Featuring live music for your shopping enjoyment, as well!

In the colder months, you can stay toasty while you shop at our Indoor Farmers Market in The Mercato corridor on Saturday mornings, from 10am-2pm.

For more information about the Farmers Market, or to become a vendor, please call the Market Manager 231.941.1900 x10.

Held on Fridays from 3-7 p.m. through September
